Roast the semolina and set it to cool... once it get cool. Add curd into it and mix it well
Rest it for 15 mins
Now add baking soda,salt and onions.. mix them al together
In a woak add oil put mustard seeds,urad dhal,chena dhal and hing.. saute till the color changes
Now add grated carrots,curry leaves and ginger. Saute it for 5 mins.
Add this vegetable mixture in to semolina and curd mixture. Add some water to get pourong consistency... mix them all well.
Batter should not be more watery.. it should be little thick.
Now grease the idly plate with oil and pour the batter.. cook them for 10 mins..
Hot rava idly is ready to serve with chutney..
